Birth

Rosina was born in 1860 in Hanborough, Oxfordshire.^[1] She was the daughter of Thomas Lay and Rosina Kingscott. Her baptism took place at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 20th May 1860.^[2] Her father stated on the register that he was a publican.
