Rosina was born in 1860 in Hanborough, Oxfordshire.[1] She was the daughter of Thomas Lay and Rosina Kingscott. Her baptism took place at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 20th May 1860.[2] Her father stated on the register that he was a publican.

Death
Rosina died at 30 Mill Street, Osney, Oxfordshire on 29th August 1942.[7] Probate was granted to Beatrice Lay spinster and her estate was valued at £599 17s. 6d.[8]
