Biography
Mary Moores will, dated 1835, is in the Harford County book of wills, Reg TSB, Liber 5, Folio 228. The will was written on 8 April 1834 and proved on 22 December 1835. It names children James Moores, Samuel Lee Moores, Aquila Paca Moores, Elizabeth Moores; granddaughters Mary Elizabeth Bryarla and Sarah R. Moores daughter of Aquila; and slave Hannah, as well as referring to other unnamed slaves.[1]
