Hannah Lee, daughter of Nicholas Lee, tailor, & Jane Parker, was born on 6 December 1838 in Gateshead, Durham, England, United Kingdom. She was baptised on 13 November 1840 at their local parish church in Gateshead.[1]
In the 1841 census Hannah (age 2) was living with her parents and sister Elizabeth at Oakwell Gate in Gateshead, Durham, England.[2]
