Elizabeth died in North Adelaide, South Australia on 27 November 1926 at the age of 81 years.[3] The following death notice was published in the South Australian newspaper, The Advertiser, on 29 November 1926:[4]
- WILMSHURST.—On the 27th November, at her residence, Elizabeth, dearly beloved wife of Charles Henry Wilmshurst, of Finniss-street, North Adelaide, aged 81 years. Native born.
Elizabeth buried at the North Road Cemetery in Nailsworth, South Australia on 28 November 1926.[5][6]
