Biography

Maria Dorothea Wilhelmine was born on 12 Mar 1849 in Hamburg, Germany.

She married Tischler (carpenter) Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Baumgarten from Steudnitz (Großherzogtum Sachsen).

In 1877 they lived at Rönnheiderstrasse 49 (see Notes) in Hamburg-Barmbek.

In 1899 the couple were still living in Hamburg, but had moved to Hamburgerstrasse 130.

In Feb 1921 her husband passed away at home (Desenißstrasse 65) in Hamburg, aged 76y 1m. Two days later she herself declared his death to the registry office.

In Mar 1924 Maria Dorothea Wilhelmine Baumgarten passed away at Hamburgerstrasse 97, almost two weeks after her 75th birthday, in Schneidermeister (master tailor) Ernst Schrader's home, who also declared her death to the registry office.
