When Frances Jane Lenord was born on 7 August 1882 in Warialda, New South Wales[1], her father, Francis, was 34, and her mother, Phoebe, was 26. She married George Ross on 7 December 1910 in Inverell, New South Wales.[2] They had three children during their marriage. She died having lived for more than 100 years. She died on 31 July 1984 in Moree, New South Wales, at the age of 101.
Throughout the 1930s, she is recorded as living at a property called Glenleigh Station in Pallamallawa, NSW (home duties), with her partner George and son Frank listed as farmers and other son Colin (Jack) listed as a farmhand. [3]
Later it appears that Frank and his partner (Elva Ann) move to a property called Prospect Station in Biniguy (nearby), while another property appears later called (Bellevue), which appears to be operated by Ian George Ross (son) until at least 1977.
From the late 1960s Frances Lenord was recorded in the electoral rolls as living at Heber St, Moree.[4] [5]
