Stated to be sister of George, Earl of Rothes, in a marriage contract dated at Haddington on 8th June 1529 between him, on her behalf, and John Wardlaw of Torrie and Henry Wardlaw, his son and heir-apparent, for her marriage with the latter, She was apparently already the widow of Walter Heriot of Burntuck.[1]
