Alexander was born in 1776. He passed away before 1859. He married Susannah Smith in 1806 in Davidson, Tennessee. Their known children from will and estate records:

Research Notes

1. Alexander is not Alexander Lester son of Bryant Lester, Sr. That Alexander died in Williamson County, Tennessee about 1833.
2. Alexander is most likely a grandson of Bryant Lester, Sr.
3. This Alexander is not Alex Luster father of Eliza Ann Lester-Harper. Her father actually was most likey Royal Lester (d. 1854 Davidson, TN). This conclusion can be drawn from Tennessee State Supreme Court Records.^[1]
4. Alexander was most likely the son of John Lester who died about 1819 possibly in Davidson, Tennessee. Alexander was the executor of John's estate.^[2]
5. Alexander's siblings most likely were Kittura, Susan, Sarah.^[3]
6. There is a tie to Richard S. Lester that died before 15 Oct 1855 in Madison, Tennessee. He appears to be most likely a half brother. Richard witnessed the above noted land purchase and was also due a note out of John Lester's estate.
