Biography

Eleanor was born about 1817 and baptized 01 Dec 1817. She is the daughter of George Lethbridge and Betsy Matthews.^[1]

In 1841 Eleanor was living in Tavistock, Devon, England with her parents George Lethbridge and Betsy Matthews and three siblings, Richard Lethbridge, George Lethbridge, and Elizabeth Lethbridge. There are nine other people ranging in age from 14 to 25.^[2]

A marriage licence was issued to Charles Henry Daw, widower, and Eleanor Lethbridge on Feb 12, 1851.^[3] Their married was registered later in Jan,Feb, Mar quarter of 185i at Tavistock, Devon, England^[4]
