Press Democrat, The (Santa Rosa, CA) - Wednesday, April 30, 2008 Robert F Leveroni: January 12, 1923 - April 27, 2008 in Santa Rosa. Loving and devoted father to David and Craig. Adored grandfather of Suzy Brandon and great-grandfather of Kylie. Dear brother of Alvin and Richard. Preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Mario and his brother, Mike. Survived by Craig's wife Jane, Suzy's husband David, his brothers' wives Gloria and Aurora, and his former wife Vera Bissler. Bob was born, reared and educated in San Francisco, but has been a resident of Santa Rosa for 55 years. He served his country honorably during World War II in the US Air Force. Bob had a tremendous love for life, his family, all animals, and sports. He had coached different levels of youth baseball and had been involved with a number of civic clubs. Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends and can now rest in peace. Friends and family are invited to attend the Crypt side Service, Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Italian Cemetery, 540 F St., Colma, CA Arrangements by LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 Sonoma Hwy., Santa Rosa, 539-2921.
