Death
The death of Harriet (Lewis) Castle remains undocumented. There are many references to her death in 1882 based on the New South Wales BMD indices.
The NSW BMD returns the following data from a search of deaths for Harriet Castle:
CASTLE HARRIET 7498/1882 (Father) THOMAS (Mother) MARY (District) PARRAMATTA.
There is a Funeral Notice in the Sydney Morning Herald of 31 August 1882 that shows her husband's name as "Mr William Castle" of Rookwood, NSW. On this basis any identification of Harriet Lewis of this profile with the Harriet Castle who died in 1882 must be discounted: wrong parents and wrong husband!
