Martha A. (Little) Smith was the daughter of William and Elizabeth W. . She was born in Louisa Co., Iowa, on October 19, 1842, and married D. H. Smith on September 21, 1865. They were the parents of Mabel, born April 15, 1867, Henry B., born January 1, 1869, and William E., born October 19, 1871.
