Biography

Sarah was a Friend (Quaker)

Sarah was the daughter of Sampson Lloyd and Rachel Barnes. She was born in Birmingham, Warwickshire on 28 October 1764.^[1]

On 11 November 1785, at Henley in Arden Quaker Meeting House, Warwickshire, Sarah married Joseph Foster, calico printer of Middlesex, son of Robert Foster of Worcester, Worcestershire and his deceased wife Ann.^[2] They had four sons and four daughters. One son died in childhood.^[3]

• Robert, born at Bromley, Middlesex on 4 November 1802^[14][15]
• Sarah, born at Bromley, Middlesex on 13 June 1805^[16][17]
• Lucy, born at Bromley, Middlesex on 13 November 1810^[18][19]

Sarah died in 1847.^[3]
