Biography
Maria lo Re’ is born in Palermo, and a resident of Corleone from the age of minority, the daughter of Gioachino lo Re’ and Antonina, whose surname is not yet known.
Maria marries at least twice, first to Sebastiano Mazzulo (also appears as “Marzullo”), son of the late Domenico Mazzulo and Carmela, from Terra di Puzzo di Sotto (I can’t identify this place), and a resident of Corleone from the age of minority, on 1 March 1750.[1]
Maria remarries to Ciro Gennaro, son of the late Giovanni and Maria, on 4 February 1759.[2]
Ciro and Maria have at least one child, Maria (c. 1772), named after her paternal grandmother.
Maria marries Filippo lo Bosco on 20 April 1792. Her mother has died by this time.[3]
