Biography
Sarah Jane Lockhart was born on March 23, 1823 in Armstrong Township, Indiana, Pennsylvania, United States.
In 1850, Sarah (27) was living in Armstrong, Indiana with Thomas Lochard (55), Elizabeth Lochard (50), Sarah J Lochard (28), Benjamin Lochard (25), Isaac Lochard (21), Thomas Lochard (18), and Munson Lochard (11). [1]
Sarah (30) married Daniel Lenhart Forsythe (37) (born on May 18, 1816 in Pennsylvania) on November 22, 1853 in Wisconsin. Their son was George Thomas Forsythe (1858–1938).
In 1860, Sarah (37) was living in Pepin with her husband, Dan J (42); their son, George (2); and Sarah J Forsythe (36), Jane E Forsythe (5), and Mary C Forsythe (5/12). [2]
In 1870, Sarah (47) was living in Frankfort, Pepin with her husband, Daniel Forsyth (54); their son, George Forsyth (12); and Sarah J Forsyth (48), Jane Forsyth (15), and Mary Forsyth (10). [3]
In 1880, Sarah (57) was living in household of Daniel Forsyth (63) in Frankfort, Pepin with her husband, Daniel Forsyth (63); their son, George Forsyth (22); and Sarah J. Forsyth (57). [4]
Sarah died on May 2, 1888 in Pepin, aged 65.[5]
