Biography
"Henry Calvin “Cal” Lockwood, 92, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, February 9, 2017, at his residence.
Funeral services were held at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald . Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Lockwood was born December 19, 1924, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was raised by his parents, Frank V. & Henrietta Lockwood. He served his country honorably in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by his daughter, Geraldine of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Russell Lockwood; a daughter, Marietta Redd Bell; a son-in-law, Ray Tyler; and a brother. "
