LOLKUS , Dick (86) Passed away on Saturday, June 9th, in Hillsboro, Oregon. Born on July 5, 1920 in Lismore, Minnesota, Dick and his family left their farm in 1934 for brighter pastures in Artesia, CA. After meeting and marrying Goldie Beryl (Buell) Lolkus in 1941, Dick served with the 940th Field Artillery Battalion in the European theater of operations during WWII. After the war, Dick worked in a variety of sales positions including that of Regional Sales Manager for Cromwell Oil Company. Dick later was a member of the Union of Operating Engineers and was well known throughout the Southern California area for nearly 30 years as one of the best landscape graders working.

Dick is survived by a daughter, Dickie Ann Kempema, of Hillsboro, Oregon, and a son, Dirik Lolkus, of Fountain Valley, CA. A proud Dutchman, Dick will be remembered with love by his family.
