Mary Elizabeth Lough was born on June 4, 1929 in Weston, Lewis County, West Virginia, United States.

Mary (17) married John Beavers (20) (born on March 9, 1926 in Owings, Harrison, West Virginia; son of Della Alonzo Beavers and Grace Lily (Pitzer) Beavers) in 1947 in Lewis.
Mary died on October 31, 2019 in Florida, United States, aged 90. She is commemorated at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Mount Clare, Harrison County, West Virginia.[3]
