Biography

Mary was born in 1876 to Samuel Loughridge and Julia Chandler in Nebraska.

By 1902, Mary became a stenographer in Auburn.

In 1912, Mary moved to Lincoln.

She passed away in 1951.

FAREWELL KENSINGTON
Lodge Officers Entertain For Miss Mary Loughridge.

The officers of the Eastern Star gave a farewell kensington on last Thursday afternoon in honor of Miss Mary Loughridge, who leaves this week fur Lincoln.

The event took place at the home of Mrs. Frank Gerlaw and was an occasion of genuine pleasure for all who participated. A two course luncheon was served in the dining room which had been decorated profusely with cut flowers and presented charming appearance.

Mibs Loughridge, who has been a faithful worker in the lodge, was presented with a handsome emblem pin as a token of the regard in which she is held and the regret that her departure brings to those with whom she has been associated.

Loughridge, dearly beloved sister of Stella Loughridge of this city and George Loughridge of New York City, loving aunt of Mrs. Olive French of this city, Bryson Loughridge of Wisconsin and Donald Loughridge of Washington, D. C., a native of Nebraska, aged 75 years, 5 months, 18 days; a member of Auburn Lodge O. E. S. of Auburn, Nebraska. Friends are invited to attend the funeral (Sunday) afternoon at 3 o’clock from the George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, 808 O Street. Cremation, Memorial Crematorium, private.
