Jean was born in 1370. He was married to Métheline Lagane. He was President of the Provence's court of accounts, historically known under the name of President of Provence. He was responsible for Finances and Advisor to the Dauphin Charles, future King Charles VII. He was ousted from power for reason of State in 1425, and the King kept his trust and friendship in him until his death in 1440. [1] [2]
