Marcelino G. Lozada "Chelino" "Slim"
Age 69, husband of Cecelia Strzalkowski Lozada of 44 years, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2005.
Born in ToaAlto, Puerto Rico, He came to the Wilmington area in 1958, where he met and married his wife, Cecelia. Chelino had been a groundskeeper for 44 years at the Wilmington Country Club. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and bowling. He loved to remodel old cars and he loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren.
He is also survived by a son, Marcelino "Mark" and his wife, Mary Jo; a daughter, Doris DelValle; and sisters, Engracia Seera and her husband, Jose Luis and Saturnina Landron and her husband, Maximino; grandchildren, Taylor, Stephanie and Ashley; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Fran Harrison and her husband, Joe; and a dear friend, Jesse Wilson. He was predeceased by his parents, Braulio and Aurora (Gracia) Lozada.
