Biography

George was born in 1826. He is the son of Stephen Ludington and Catherine Slayton. In 1850 age 24, he was living with his parents, his wife, Martha, age 22, Watson House, 11 (possibly a nephew), and William, age 1 in Oswego.^[1]

In 1870, age 44, he was living in Oswego with Martha, age 43, James, age 12, and Minnie Widges, 13. ^[2]

He is named on a land grant in Oswego in 1878. ^[3]

George died in 1898 in Oswego. ^[4]
