Biography

Birth

Henry was son and heir of Edmund Ludlow, Knt. Edmund was a prosperous country gentleman with extensive estates in Hampshire and Wiltshire.^[1][2]

Marriage

Henry married Lettice West on 27 Aug. 1600. In 1601 Edmund conveyed the manors of Tadley and Sherborne St. John, Hampshire, to Henry shortly after the latter's marriage.^[3]

Career

Henry was MP for Andover in 1601.^[1]

Henry was MP for Ludgershall in 1604.^[1]
