Biography

Florence was born in 1892. She was the daughter of John Lynch and Mary Boyd. She passed away in 1960.

Shortly after the death of her sister, Margaret (Lynch) Waters, it was decided that she and her husband, George Coane, would adopt Margaret (Lynch) Waters's two children, Doris (Waters) O'Brien and Billy (Waters) Coane. The adoption was finalized 22 Nov 1928.^[1][2][3]

George and Florence, both worked for Universal Pictures in New Jersey; George as a film director and Florence as the secretary to one of the founders of the studio. In 1932 the family followed the studio to Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California.^[4][5]
