Daughter Sarah's death registration is witnessed by Mary McLaughlin of Meenalooban. Sister Bridget's death registration is witnessed by Denis McLaughlin, who is Mary's husband. They are in the 1901 census in Meenalooban.
Their wedding registration from 1887 shows Mary's maiden name as being Doherty, as do the birth registrations of their children. It is therefore not clear what the precise relationship between the families may be.
