Morwenna attended Lothian School for Girls, in Harrogate in 1922. [6]While at the school she had her poem 'The Sea Call' published in issue 6 of Yorkshire Poetry published by Swan Press Leeds in September 1922, and 'Why Black Cats have a few White Hairs' included in Flights in Fairyland edited by Jean Miller and Rose Emma Speight and published by J. Saville & Co., London, c. 1922/1923.[7]
She attended Newnham College, Cambridge and was awarded a BA from Cambridge University in 1931 and MA in 1934. [8]
Morwenna was awarded a Diploma in Education from Sheffield University in June 1931.[9]
In 1932 Morwenna was a member of staff at Southlands College (then at Wimbledon) which later became part of what is now Roehampton University.[10]
Morwenna spoke at the 'Uniting Conference' of Methodists at the Royal Albert Hall on 20 September 1932.[11]
She was all-England President of the "Girls' League", a Methodist youth organisation,[12] in 1934. [13]
Morwenna married Arthur R Bielby at Endcliffe Methodist Church, Sheffield on 14 August 1934.[14] Their marriage was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1934 in the Ecclesall Bierlow district.[15][16]Their marriage was considered unusual at the time because they married on 'equal terms', the bride was not 'given away' and they exchanged rings.[17][18]
In the 1939 register Morwenna (age 32), Unpaid Domestic Duties, was recorded as married at 8 Church Road, Ashford, Ashford U.D., Kent, England.[1]

She wrote a series of booklets about men and women of the faith for the Edinburgh House Press and plays on religious themes. [19]
Morwena died on 29 July 1979,[20] her death was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1979 in the Huddersfield district.[21]
