Hans Casten Lüring was born in Böddenstedt on 23 Nov 1756. His parents were Carsten Lühr and Anna Maria Geffers. Hans Casten and Catharina Maria Stolte (born 29 Nov 1751 in Böddenstedt, died 10 Apr 1825 in Böddenstedt) were married in Gerdau on 9 Jan 1789. They had 2 daughters. Hans Casten died in Böddenstedt on 6 Dec 1828.[1]
