Biography

Karl was born March 16, 1854^[1], third child of Thomas Møller and Marie Bruun (possibly Brun or Bruen). Thomas was a shoemaker.

In the 1860 census^[2] he lived with his parents and siblings on Nørregade in Holstebro Købstad, Ringkøbing Amt.

In 1870^[3], he lived with his brother Frederik Carl Christian in the house of Lars Christian Nielsen, 29, a dyer (Farver), on Nørregade in Holstebro Købstad, Ringkøbing Amt. Frederik was apprenticed to Lars, and Karl would eventually also become a dyer.

He married Karen Marie Nielsen on April 22, 1875^[4]. They had four children:

Frederik Marius Julius Møller, born 1880

Karl Kristian Marinus Møller, born 1882

In 1880, he lived with Karen and their children Ane, Thomas, and Frederik at Kirkegaardsvejen 10 (later Langelinie 10), Vejle Købstad, Vejle Amt^[5]. He also lived there in 1890^[6] and 1901^[7].

In 1911 ^[8] and 1916^[9], Karl, Karen, and a their grandson Ejner Møller (son of Frederik and his wife Knudine), lived in Holmans, Vinding Sogn, Vejle.

By 1921, the family had moved to Vor Freslers Sogn, Vejle^[10]. They also lived there in 1925 (Ejner was temporarily absent).^[11]
