Biography

BOYLE (BEAULY)

Angus Boyle (pioneer) came from Scotland to Beauly, Antigonish County, about the first decade of the last century. He was married to a Miss MacDougall, and had the following family: Alex, not married; Angus married to a Miss Chisholm; Duncan married to ANN MACDONELL; Donald married in Guysboro County, raised a family: Andrew, not married; Patrick married to Miss Nash in Guysboro; John married to the widow of Rory MacDonald (Donn), with issue of one daughter (Kate Lucy married firstly to James MacDonald, Reserve Mines, and then to Mr. Stevenson of Newfoundland); Kate married to Donald Campbell (Garanach); Lucy not married.

The issue of Duncan Boyle and ANN MACDONELL were: Angus, married to Ann Bella MacDonald, daughter of William; Andrew not married; Alex not married; Mary not married; Kate died young; Ann married to Alex Somers; another died young.
