Con was born in 1930. She passed away in 2016. [1]

She went to Avonside Girls High, then Teachers College before going to England and Europe for three years.
After raising her family she worked at Christchurch Boys High School for many years in the text book department.
Con was active in the Boy Scouts movement for many years (cubs division) and was awarded the Medal of Merit and the Bar to the Medal of Merit for her contribution to Scouting.
