Alexander Daniel MacFarlane was born on October 3, 1867 to John MacFarlane and Mary Torry at Wallace NS.[1]
Alexander was schooled at public school, then Sackville Academy, and then, he studied for three years at the Agricultural College at Guelph Ontario. A very successful farmer, Alexander was also an elected member of the county council, a customs officer, a member of the board of education, a master in the Masonic Order, and a chief ranger in the Canadian Order of Foresters.
On September 28, 1904, Alexander MacFarlane married Agnes Turner.[2]
Alexander MacFarlane died on May 29, 1936 at Wallace NS.[3][4]
