Biography
Katherine Mackie was baptized 01 Jul 1808 in Tullynessle, the daughter of Peter Mackie and Margaret Mitchell[1]. Catherine married John Abel 09 May 1841 in Dyce[2]. They had at least two children, James b about 1845 and Catherine b about 1844. In the 1841 census John, a 35 year old Farmer, and Catherine are at the Parish of Dyce[3]. Katherine died sometime before the 1851 census was taken because in that census, her children are living with her widowed husband John.
