Robert was born in 1806. Robert Mackintosh was a British colonial governor in the West Indies.
He was Lieutenant-Governor of St Christopher (St Kitts) between 1847 and 1850, before being appointed to the more senior post of Governor of Antigua.
He served as Governor of Antigua from 1850 to 1855. [1]
