Biography

Roselind "Rose" was born in 1921 in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada. She was the daughter of John Magin and Jane Ann Emmott.^[1] Her father worked for the Canadian National Railway and her mother worked as a midwife. In the 1926 census Roselind (age 4) was the daughter of John Magin in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada.^[2]

Roselind married Clifford Robert Prout in Dauphin, Manitoba in 1942. He was of Austin, Manitoba and was stationed at Dauphin with the Royal Canadian Air Force.^[3] They had two infant sons that passed away; Gerald and Ronald Prout.

She passed away in 2021 in Yorkton. A private family graveside service was held on Saturday August 28, 2021 at the Yorkton City Cemetery with Jason E. Kopan serving as the Celebrant. Rosealind was mentioned on a memorial in Yorkton City Cemetery, Yorkton, Yorkton Census Division, Saskatchewan, Canada with a death date of August 2021.^[4]
