Louisa was the daughter of Rudolf Mankowsky and Henrietta Steiger. She was born 21 Sep 1881 in Dortmund, Westphalen, Germany, and was baptized on 20 Nov 1881.[1]
She emigrated on the Westernland to the Port of New York on 5 Sep 1900. [2].
The manifest shows that she was traveling with her brother-in-law, Jacob Goempel to the Pittsburgh area.
In 1908, she married John Wietholder in Allegheny County. [3] In 1910, they were living on Spinneweber street in Baldwin Township. [4]
In 1910, their son, John Rudolph was born[5]. Her husband passed in 1925, and Louisa spent the rest of her life with her son as her companion.[6][7]
She passed in 1954, and is buried in Birmingham Cemetery.[8]
