William Manning was born in 1874 at Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. He was the son of Joseph Manning and Margaret Galletly[1].
William married Daisy Jane Joblin in 1907 at Stratford, Taranaki, New Zealand[2]. They had two children William Claude Manning (b. 1907), Vera Daisy Manning (b. 1909). His wife Daisy died in 1911.
William married Daisy's sister Fanny Stella Joblin in 1914 at Hawera, Taranaki, New Zealand[3]. They did not have any children.
William died on 16 May 1934 age 60 at Makahu, Taranaki, New Zealand[4] and buried on 18 May 1934 at Kopuatama Cemetery, Stratford, New Zealand[5].
