Robert was born in 1923. He was the son of Marshall Manspeaker and Blanche Runkles. He passed away in 1977.[1]
ROBERT E. MANSPEAKER, 53, 132 N. Potomac St., died Saturday morning at the Washington County Hospital. Born in Washington County, he was a son of Marshall and Blanch Runkle Manspeaker.
He was employed by Fairchild Industries for the past 30 years. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Mae Manspeaker; two daughters, Mrs. Diane Mowen, Hagerstown, and Mrs. Gloria Jones, Funkstown; step-son, Donald Lee Slick, Smithsburg; seven sisters, Mrs. Louise Greene, Mrs. Ethel Myers, Mrs. Martha Gish, Mrs. Ann Frush, Miss Rayetta Manspeaker and Mrs. Frances Shank, all of Hagerstown, Mrs. Edith King, Gaithersburg; eight brothers, Henry and Howard, both of Funkstown; Herbert, Smithsburg; Raymond, Boonsboro; William, Richard, Elmer and Walter, all of Hagerstown; and three grandchildren.
Services were held at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel; burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
