Joseph Morache was born around 1654 (27 on 1681 census). His exact place of birth and parentage are unknown.
The first record found for him in the colony was when he contracted himself to Jacques Prou in 1669.

Vers 1676 ou 1677, Jeanne Aubert se remarie à Joseph Morache, la date et le lieu sont inconnus. On les retrouve au recensement de 1681 à Batiscan, ils ont un fils de 4 ans, Pierre, marié sous le prénom Joseph en 1710.[3]
Joseph Morache was married to widow Jeanne Aubert around 1676 or 1677, the exact date and place are unknown. They are found on 1681 census in Batiscan, they have one son aged 4, Pierre, who married under the given name Joseph in 1710.[3]
