Sydney was born in the 2nd quarter of 1881 in Leicester to Frank and Mary Jane Mardon.[1]
He was baptised on 1 November 1882 at St Luke's, Leicester, Leicestershire. [2]
In the 1891 census, Sydney was living in Nichols Street, Leicester, with his parents, brother John (16), Dennis (14) and his sister Louia (7). He was 9 years old and a scholar. [3]
By 1901, Sydney was now 19 and had moved to Overton Road in Leicester and was a servant (Brick Carter) to the head of the household - (William Preston)[4]
in 1911 Sydney was still living in Leicester and was single. He was employed as a General Carter. [5]
Sydney passed away in the 3rd quarter on 1917 at the age of 37[6]
