Biography

Nicolò Michele Alberto Marino was born at Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, "heri sero," 22 January 1696, son of Ignazio Marino and Antonina [Prinzivalli]; and was baptized in San Michele parish, 23 January 1696; his sponsors were M.ro Calogero Marino and Maria uxor Geronimo Carusello.[1] Nicolai Marino died in his home, and was buried in San Michele Arcangelo cemetery, Sciacca, 3 April 1749, aged 67 [sic]: "Nicolai Marino Ann: 67."[2]

Nicolaum Marino, son of qm Ignazio Marino and Antonia Prinzivalli, married at Sciacca (Quartiere Matrice), 27 9bre (November) 1717, by Reverendo Sacerdote Don Vincenzo Maggio Capp.ni, Franciscam Gallo, daughter of Antonino Gallo and Anna Randazzo, schettos of San Michele Arcangelo parish. The witnesses were Geronimo Grisafi and Calogero la Lumia.[3]

Francesca Leonarda Gallo was born at Sciacca, "heri," 23 January 1698; daughter of Antonino Gallo and Anna [Randazzo], and was baptized in San Michele parish, 24 January 1698; her sponsors were Calogero Gaudesi and Giovanna uxor Antonino Montalbano.[4] Francisca uxor Nicolai Marino died in her home, and was buried on the grounds of Santa Maria de Monte Carmleo church convent, Sciacca, 29 9bre (November) 1747, aged 57 [sic]: "Francisca uxor Nicolai Marino Ann: 57."[5]

  4. Caterina Mattea Marino, b. "heri sero," 20 7bre (Sept.) 1726; bap. 21 7bre (Sept.) 1726; sponsors were Giuseppe Pureri and Theresa Indelicato obstetrix.
