Biography
Montague James Mathew was born on 18 August 1773, the son of Francis Mathew, 1st Earl of Landaff and Ellis Smyth. [1]
He died on 20 March 1819 at age 45.
colonel of the 99th regiment of foot
MP for Co Tipperary between 1806 and 1819.
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1813.
