Biography

Robert's parents died when he was quite young; when he was age 2 his mother died, and when he was age 3 his father died.

Robert was the youngest of nine children. His siblings were:

Robert married Maud Pendleton.

In 1900 Robert and Maud were living in Foster, Linn, Oregon, with son Alford Matlock, age 4.^[1]

Living in Crawfordsville in 1910.^[2]
