Biography
Anders was born in Malma parish 29 September 1805 to day laborer Mats Ersson at Gisslarbo and his wife Brita Andersdotter.[1]
His father became a soldier and died in 1808 or 1809.[2] Anders lived for a time in Björskog with his widowed mother.[3][4] His mother remarried about 1816. Anders Matsson lived with her and his stepfather in Köping[5] and then in Bro.[6]
Anders Matsson married Anna Stina Persdotter. They lived in Norberg and had at least eight children.[7]
Anders Matsson died 23 December 1881.[8]
