Biography
George Thomas Matthews was born in 1881 in Van Zandt County, Texas to William H. Matthews and Sarah J. Hendley.[1] He married Ethel Dorothy Pitts in 1904 in Van Zandt County, Texas.[2][3][4][5][6] George passed away in 1958 in Grand Saline, Texas and is buried in the Colfax Cemetery in Colfax, Texas.[7][8]
