Biography

William was born in 1812, the son of Thomas Maunsell and Caroline Cockayne. He was christened at Rushton, Northamptonshire 13 September 1812^[1]. He passed away in 1862^[2][3] and was buried 17 March at Thorpe Malsor^[4].

William attended Eton School; became a barrister at law and Recorder of Stamford^[5].
