Biography

Kirsti was from Bjerkreim, and was the daughter of Maurits Velleson and his wife Guri Mikkelsdotter.^[1]

She married Kristoffer Børgeson about 1698, and lived at Aubøhagen under Aubø on Sjernarøy.^[2] Their children were:

• Peder, born 1699, married to Randi Olsdotter, was a tenant farmer at Aubøhagen^[2]
• Jakob, born 1700, married to Sofie Jensdotter, was a tenant farmer in Hjelmelandsvågen, died childless in 1773^[2]
• Mikkel, born 1703, lived in Aubøhagen with wife and children in 1723^[2]
• Elisabeth, born 1705, married to Nils Berg^[2]

Kirsti was recorded at Aubø in 1711.^[1]
