James Maw, son of John Thompson Maw and Caroline Culham, was born on March 27, 1910 in Vaughan Township, Ontario, Canada.[1][2][3] They were living at Lot 30, Concession 10 in a rural area near Nashville in Vaughan Township, Ontario at the time.[1] His birth was attended by Thomas Harvey Robinson, M.D. of Kleinburg.[1]
Dorothy and James appear to be mentioned several times as Mr. and Mrs. James Maw Sr., in the "News from Nashville" section of the Times & Guide newspaper for attending or hosting various functions.[4]
