William Field May was born on the 20 December 1837 in Wokingham, Berkshire, England. [1]
William Field May was a Bricklayer in Victoria Australia, and died suddenly, aged 52 years old, while working with two of his sons on 18 April 1891 [2]
On the 1851 Census in England William was living with his mother and father in Egham Surrey England and also his brother Charles and sister Elizabeth. He was 14 years old and working as a garden boy. [3]
