James Osbourne Maynard[1] was born on September 15, 1926, in West Virginia, the child of Joliffe Maynard[2] and Irene Osborn[3]. He died on January 30, 1947[4], in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 20, and was buried in Circleville, Ohio[5].
