Biography
George was born about 1844. The 1871 census shows him as 26 years old living in Stamford with his parents William and Eliza McClive. [1]
He married Mary Saylor in 1876 [2] They had two children before Mary died in 1894.
He married Polly Birkenshaw in 1902. [3]
He died in 1917. [4]
